The Castalian Quartet has been selected for the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme, 2012/13. They will appear in recitals across the UK. (September 2011)
Castalian Quartet Tours China
Sadie's quartet has just returned from a very successful tour of southern China, where they represented the UK and gave a number of recitals and masterclasses, organised by the British Council (September 2011)
Worshipful Company of Musicians Medal
Sadie has been awarded the prestigious Silver Medal, the top award from the Worshipful Company of Musicians (September 2011)
Royal Academy Fellowship
The Castalian (formerly Fields) Quartet has been awarded the Leverhulme Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music for 2011-12! (June 2011)
Edison Fellowship
Sadie has been awarded a prestigious Edison Fellowship at the British Library Sound Archives, commencing September 2011. As a Visiting Fellow, Sadie will be undertaking research at the Sound Archive on early 20th Century violin performance. (March 2011)
